Burma needs to know how many people are residing so that census is one of the most important milestones so as to plan ahead for the future from development strategies to defence strategies. If we don’t know what is our population, then implementing economic development strategies and poverty alleviation strategies will be in vain. If we know how many populations, then based on that information we will be able to calculate Income, Expenditures, Poverty, & Wealth: Gross Domestic Product (GDP). So, we welcome conducting census in Burma.
